Tiki drinks ruled the world in the 50s and 60s before falling victim to too many cheap counterfeits, cheesey fanchises and evil, pre-mixed recipes. We've gone back to the very beginning for our drinks and inspiration: to 1934 at Don the Beachcomber's in Hollwood, California and up the road (about 300 miles up the road) to the original Trader Vic's in Oakland, California.
We make all of our Tiki drinks with the best stuff we can find and stick rigidly to the original formulas by sourcing out-of-print recipes and hard-to-find, once-secret ingredients. All of our Tiki drinks are absolutely guaranteed to be dangerous and delicious. Some of them are so dangerious (the Zombie) that we have to limit you to two per visit. They're also more expensive than our regular cocktails because of the amount and cost of the liquor in them and the quality of the freshly squeezed juices we use. |
